According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ca Mau, the price of white shrimp of 100 units / kg is being purchased for about 95,000 VND / kg; 70 pieces per kg and about 50 VND / kg and about 125,000 VND / kg. Current prices are about 30% higher than three months ago.

The reason for the increase in shrimp prices is due to the demand for shrimp imports of other countries increased sharply to prepare the source of goods to serve high demand for Christmas and the end of the year.

Previously, at the middle of this year, prices of raw material shrimp dropped dramatically, the type of 100 children per kg only about 60-70,000 VND / kg, causing difficulties for farmers in Ca Mau.

In this locality, many successful shrimp farmers still have no profit. Recently, shrimp prices are increasing, Ca Mau shrimp farmers are excited to re-stock.

Nguyen Minh Luan, a shrimp farmer in intensive farming in Nguyen Viet Khai commune, Phu Tan district, Ca Mau, shared: “Around June, July, shrimp prices fell. At that time, it was raining so it was hard to raise. Currently, shrimp prices are rising. This price ensures that shrimp farmers are profitable. If the breed is good and the environment is favorable, then the profit should be 50%. ”
